What do we believe happened?

This bit comes from a Swiss-German newspaper- Three base jumper at the Murrenfluh went, to take a further leap this day from the Nose. The first base jumper jumped off. His two colleagues noticed that he was unstable in freefall. Only when they were in the air - they took out a leap together - they saw their colleague was crashed and impacted near the cliff on the ground. The helicopter rescue crew found him dead. The cause of the incident is not yet known. Appropriate investigations are under way
