He stepped to the edge, prepared, and then made a push during which he slipped.
All we could see from the exit was that he pitched heavily head-down and was extremely close to the ledge below.
A moment later there was a sound of the first impact, and shortly after that another, much louder one.
His parachute never appeared, and we immediately called the rescue services, who later found him.
